Olympus E30
The E30 from Olympus was launched in the 1st QTR 2009 and it was rapidly identified and recognized by the photographic community as highly competent and a great fit for both the amateur and the hobby photographer.
What are the basic elements a wedding photographer look for in a camera? Well its simply high picture quality, the ability of the camera to record good levels of details, high speed focus and accurate focus system. Excellent manual functionality plus good flash integration is also aspects of a good wedding SLR camera. Olympus has a good selection of professionally graded lenses from 8mm fish eye, right up to fast 400mm zoom lenses.
The E3 and the E30 are perfect partners to the commercial photographer and it is especially their great focus speed that set them apart.
The next level up will be the 5D MKII from Canon. Its picture quality is awesome but photographers complain that the focus system is not that great. The 7D looks like it could become the next benchmark in this segment.
